The beauty of a Pole Saw

Pole Saws are so cool and it is great to add one of these to your garden tool list. The beauty of these saws is that they can really make life easy getting those hard to reach areas.

This is a safe way to work because having a ladder can be pretty dangerous if another person is not there to assist or if that ladder is not properly secured.

In this review, we will be looking at greenworks 20672 cordless pole saw

GreenWorks 20672 Cordless Pole Saw Overview

What I love about this pole saw is its ease of use getting into those hard to reach areas, also the lightweight of this pole saw is easy on the arms so you get to move faster getting more work done

Greenworks pole saw is quite and runs on a G-Max 40v 2amp battery which is also great because you don’t have to concern yourself with inhaling emission that comes from a gas powered saw.

No need to use any strength of your own to get the job done, just place saw blade in the right place and saw does the rest of the work. I remember at times

using a manual pole saw when working on garden projects and what I did not like about these pole saw is that they can really put a beating on your arms as you try to get cut through those branches, so we see that this battery operated tool really make working fun (NO SWEAT).

Automatic oiler applies oil to bar and chain when needed to ensure durability and optimal use with a translucent oil tank for clear view of oil level

3-piece aluminum shaft can be extended to 8 ft. for the perfect extended

2.Battery powered, no concern for inhaling gas

3.Has good balance

4.Easy to operate

5.Has good extension to reach high branches

6.Runs quite

7.Battery has an indicator to let you know how much power is left

8.Has a built-in system that automatically shut saw off when it starts to overheat

9.Has a safety lock feature to avoid injury

10.Four-year warranty

The cordless pole saw is a very good device. It is gradually replacing the use of ladder which is bulky and most of the time risky. When using the pole saw, all you have to do is stand up and use it compare to ladder you have to carry it, place it, and then climb. Your mind is at rest whenever you are using pole saw. I hope they will start producing longer pole saw.

Great review Norman – thanks! We have a tree right outside our house that has had some broken branches for a few years now – I don’t want to get rid of it because it gives our deck some nice shade in the summer, but those branches worry me. The branches are too high to get to by ladder (without a lot of risk), and it would be way more expensive to get someone in to cut them for us – this is a great option!

The cordless pole saw is a very good device for cutting branches that too without a ladder. That means a single person can do the job which otherwise would require assistance from some one to secure the ladder. The feature of automatic oiling of bar and chain when necessary is cool. The safety feature of auto shut down when saw gets overheated and battery power indicator are really plus points. Greenworks however does not do international shipping to Bangalore, India

First of all WOW, you have an incredible amount of knowledge, experience and content here.
I like how clean the site is and how you added the WA experience in your site as well.
I believe the text fonts in the paragraph areas are to small. That might be a problem for an older person to read. Like I said before WOW this a great site. Very Impressive. You obviously know your way around a garden. And knowledge for health benefits. There actually might be to much information for one site.

I had never really considered a pole saw before soooooo quite happy I stumbled across your post. You put forth a great deal of good points and help explain the pole saw very well. At the moment I really don’t have a use for one but could see that changing very soon. Is there a shoulder strap available seperately and if so how could a person get one?

    1. Norman says:

Hello Jim so good to meet you, this pole saw is so cool and makes a great investment. As for shoulder straps, I  have been looking and have not found any. If I do come across any shoulder strap for pole saw I will be sure to let you know. Sorry about that, all the best to you and have a good day.
