Product: Hitachi RB42EAP Handheld powered Gas Blower

Blowing power, Hitachi handheld blower overview

One of the greatest things about landscape and gardening is adding that finishing touch. Using a blower to clean up afterward gives that nice clean finish.

I have taken pleasure over the years in doing just that and the customers are always well pleased with the finished product. There are many blowers that are sold, but the one I love is the Hitachi powered handheld blower.

This blower though light in weight can get the job done making your work that much easier. When you want to talk about top performance the Hitachi powered handheld blower is the one for you.

Built to make quick work of big cleanup tasks, the Hitachi RB24EAP Handheld Blower uses a 23.9 cc commercial-grade engine. It features PureFire low-emission two-stroke engine technology, a large two-finger throttle lever, and an auto-return stop switch. It offers an air volume of 441 cubic feet per minute and delivers air speeds up to 170 miles per hour for effective debris removal.

You just can’t go wrong with this high powered blower that is beautifully designed to take on those big jobs.

Pros

1.Auto-return stop switch

2. Lightweight

3.Height air volume

4.High Velocity

5.Low-emission engine

Cons

1.Blower is loud

2.May need to refill more on bigger jobs

Final Verdict

This handheld blower may be small but the power it packs is awesome. This blower is a must and will make your job easy and quick, no hassle. Before you know it you that project will be finished with a great looking end result.

I have been looking to upgrade from an electric blower to gas. I had trouble finding a smaller unit with the power that I need to meet my $150.00 budget.

I have a very large driveway and a large lot so the ones I had come across were too big and heavy or too lightweight.

Your review sold me on the Hitachi RB42EAP Handheld powered Gas Blower.

$133 bucks and it is small but packs awesome power for the big jobs.

    Thank you!

    Norman,
Looks like this is an excellent blower for a homeowner. At a little under 9 pounds it will not be too heavy for long term cleaning. Does this blower come with a shoulder strap to help reduce the carry weight from the hands to the shoulder.
Does this require oil to added to the gas as a two stroke engine. Some of the newer blowers are running four stroke engines that do not require mixed fuel.

Hello, John so nice to see again, hope all is well with both you and your family. This blower is an excellent choice because it can take on big jobs and get the work down besides being lightweight. The blower’s strap has to be purchased separately and the oil that this blower uses is 2-stroke engine oil.

Hope this helps, all the best to you and have a good day.

I work on small engines myself and I have to say that a 7 year warranty is pretty good for a small engine. For that warranty the price seems really fair. I don’t have a great big yard but I do have to blow leaves and sand off the turf I have, and that does take a minute. Have burned out electric blowers like you can not image. I was wondering about one thing, how big is the gas tank and how long is that tank estimated to run the engine?

    1. Norman says:

Hello, John so good to meet you, this blower is truly amazing. The size of the gas tank is 17.6 fl oz. The run all depends on the area you are blowing and the speed at which your moving. Hope this helps and have a good day.

This is such a useful tool. I have used a few cheapo versions when working as a landscape gardener. This is definitely one of the better brands. Better than any of those cheap Chinese tools you can buy, I like the fact that this one is light weight. Its currently summer here so this may come in handy soon!

I like the trigger on the blower. Mine is throttle adjusted, but I just run it wide open anyway. Great looking site, and a lot of different products are represented. It looks like you’ve spent a lot of time on this, and I hope my site will be close to that one day. I bet you’ll get a lot of clicks and commissions. Awesome job, and good luck down the road,
